Reserva Paisajistica Nor Yauyos Cochas

Description of site

The cabins are located at the banks of the Cañete river. During the dry season (April-December) a small, nice coarse-sanded beach is formed near the lodge, perfect for sun lovers. In general, the weather is quite mild, depending on the season. Sunny days are scarce from December to March and rain falls almost every day; still, the temperature at night is not too cold.

The scenery is beautiful because of its greenness from April to June. During this time of the year the sun shines from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and then the temperature drops markedly in the afternoon and in the early hours of the morning.

The cabins stand on a plateau 15 m above the river, surrounded by trees and nature, with a great view. The site offers security, parking lots, playground areas, etc.

All rooms are equipped with bathrooms, with plentiful hot water. There are double, triple rooms and rooms for 5 people. Since the lodge is a little remote, we recommend that the restaurant and bar services be booked in advance at the time of reservation, as it will allow us to ensure a top-quality service, with fresh products.

The restaurant’s menu features dishes with products from the region, such as trout, native potatoes, cheese, and vegetables. Although the restaurant services are available only upon reservation and the menu may seem a little small, dishes are of high quality and guests will be able to choose their own menu during their stay.

The Yauyos Lodge was developed as a starting point for carrying out a wide range of sport activities and adventure tourism, while bringing guests in close contact with nature. Since the Nor-Yauyos Cochas Landscape Reserve was hardly known by tourists, it lacked lodging services. The Yauyos lodge, which was built mostly with material from the area, respects the landscape and is eco-friendly; here, the visitor will feel safe and comfortable.
